Minji Chang is a Korean American actor, filmmaker, producer, and voice artist based in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. Theater-trained since she was a wee tot, she works across film, audio, video games, comedy, and commercial voiceover. She likes playing smart women, complicated characters, and people who are in way over their heads.

2025–2026 has been a particularly busy stretch for Minji as an actor. She plays producer Lynn McCready in Koji Sakai and Milton Liu’s horror podcast THE RED ROOM, in which a true crime investigation leads dangerously close to home. She also plays Lieutenant Alex Bradford in Connie Jo Sechrist and Scott Seagren’s sci-fi short INTO THE BLACK, about an astronaut on a one-way mission into a black hole, and Hana in Kimberly J. Han’s forthcoming dark comedy MOTTAINAI, about a woman who wakes up unexpectedly pregnant after defending her decision to remain childfree.

She is perhaps best known as Songbird in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, opposite Idris Elba and Keanu Reeves (which has passed 15 million copies sold, nbd). Her commercial voiceover work includes campaigns for Google, Samsung, Uber, Sephora, Spotify, Headspace, Kellogg’s, and more.

Minji also makes things. Her narrative directing debut, JANE, premiered in 2025 and received Best First Time Filmmaker at the Santa Barbara International Film Awards. She is currently producing the feature documentary ASHIMA and developing narrative projects for film, television, and audio.

Her route into entertainment was a little unconventional. After graduating from UC Berkeley with a BA in Public Health, Minji worked in violence prevention before becoming the Global Executive Director of Kollaboration, a nonprofit dedicated to discovering, connecting, and elevating Asian American and Pacific Islander artists. During her time there, she worked with organizations including Netflix, HBO, NBCUniversal, Sony, Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Company, and the White House.

From 2017–2026, she co-produced the Asian Pacific Filmmakers Experience at Sundance, SXSW, Tribeca, and the Toronto International Film Festival. She has spent much of her career advocating for AAPI representation in entertainment, while also producing, hosting, and making her own work.

She created and hosted First Of All, a podcast about career, relationships, creativity, mental health, and pop culture, because apparently acting, filmmaking, and producing weren't enough things to keep her busy.

These days, Minji is focused on acting, filmmaking, and telling stories about people who are messy, funny, surprising, and trying their best to figure themselves out.
